After some feedback via the poll in my journal, and some notes, I've decided to start a Final Fantasy IV Crew. I haven't seen this type of crew yet (not that I'm saying it doesn't exist), and FFIV is my favorite out of all the Final Fantasy games, so here ya go!

Some rules/regulations, though! ( oooh, boy; everyone likes those! ):

Characters are on a first-come, first-serve basis. No exceptions.
If, for some reason, you are banned, switch accounts without letting me know, or leave DA, you forfeit your claim, leaving it free for someone else. Only fair, really. I will allow exceptions to this, though. Just let me know.
You are allowed to switch out your character, so long as no one has taken that particular character you wish to claim. I will only allow this 'override' (yay, pharmacy term! ) once, so please choose carefully.
This crew covers ALL versions of Final Fantasy IV, meaning requests to claim a certain "type" of character will be denied (For example, wanting to claim the "SNES" version of Cid Pollendina, or the Japanese "Cain Highwind;" it's all the same character; on the latter, I will leave whomever claims the particular character to spell it how they wish. Let's not be picky/elitist, plz. ). There are current exceptions to this rule, however, being:

Cecil's "Paladin" form, and "Dark Knight" form: either one are claimable.
Rydia's "child" form, and "adult" form: either one are claimable. [Though as of 12/31/08, both are currently claimed.]
"Golbez" and "Theodore Harvey:" Either one are claimable, due to "changes" in the FFIV-DS storyline.
Zemus and Zeromus: claimable, due to being seperate entities.
Namingway and Roamingway: Claimable, due to "changes" in the DS-storyline.

At this time, characters from Final Fantasy IV: The After (Tsuki no Kikan) are NOT claimable. Sorry for the inconvenience. When/if Square-Enix decides to release the game on a console other than a cell-phone exclusive, I'll consider it.

Yes, I am aware of "Final Fantasy IV: The After Years," making a port to the Wii -- though right now, it's only at an "RP" ("Rating Pending") stage by the ESRB. When it's done and done, then we'll talk about opening those character spots, and possibly making more leeway. Until then, the above still follows.

As of June 1st, 2009, "Final Fantasy IV: The After Years" is available for WiiWare, which makes what I said earlier obsolete, as you can tell by my excessive strike-thrus of awesomeness. Feel free to claim those-specific characters now. (ie: Ceodore Harvey, Biggs, Leonora, ect.)

For now, the "crew" will be stationed in my journal, as I'm not a big fan of switching between accounts to maintain. Sorry about that. If general majority wants to switch to a seperate account, I will, though.

When you get your character, just copy and paste this code into your journal or sig:

Just get rid of the spaces between the "< a" and the "</a >" and you're set!

Also, you can alter what goes in the "Your Character" spot; it can say "White Mage Porom" as opposed to just "Porom of Mysidia," or "Child Rydia," as opposed to just "Rydia of Mist (Child)." Variety is good! Just stay to the character.
